Judaism is one of the world’s oldest religions and its origins date back almost four thousand years.
It is regarded as the oldest of the Abrahamic faiths which include Islam and Christianity.
The most important tenet of Judaism is that there is one God, incorporeal and eternal who wants all people to do what is just and merciful.
All people are created in the image of the Almighty and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
Jewish people believe that the Almighty has established a covenant or special agreement with them and that they were chosen to set an example of holiness and ethical behaviour to the world.
Accordingly, actions are more important in Judaism than beliefs.
